Taking SEPTA

Ride the Broad Street Line south to the last stop, NRG Station at Broad and Pattison. The Phillies say it's about a seven-minute walk to the ballpark, and about 15 minutes on the train from City Hall.

Getting here from…

Center City
Hop on the Broad Street Line southbound at City Hall, Walnut-Locust or Lombard-South and ride it to the end.
North Philly
Get on the Broad Street Line anywhere up Broad, from Fern Rock on down, and ride south.
The El
Ride the El (Market-Frankford Line) to 15th St and switch to the Broad Street Line at City Hall. The transfer is free.
Delco & West Philly
Take the El in from 69th Street Transit Center to 15th St, then transfer free to the Broad Street Line. Trolley riders transfer free at 15th St too.
The suburbs & the airport
Take Regional Rail into a Center City station like Suburban Station. City Hall station on the Broad Street Line is a short walk away.
South Jersey
Take PATCO to 12th-13th & Locust and walk to Walnut-Locust station on the Broad Street Line.
By bus
Routes 4 and 17 serve the ballpark.

Fare is $2.90 one way. Tap a contactless card or phone, or use a SEPTA Key card. Kids under 12 ride free. For some series SEPTA adds B2 Express trains that make select stops down to Walnut-Locust and then run straight to NRG, so check SEPTA's Phillies page for your game.

Philly tip: Load your fare before you get to the station. The postgame line at NRG moves faster when nobody's fumbling with a card.

Parking and tailgating

Parking is $30 per car and $60 for oversized vehicles and buses. Every lot is cashless: credit or debit card, Apple Pay or Google Pay. You can prepay on the Phillies' site or through SpotHero.

Tailgating is allowed in Lots A–H, M, N and O. It's not allowed in the lots west of Darien Street or north of Pattison Avenue. Tailgating lots open 5 hours before first pitch; the other lots open 3 hours before.

Accessible parking is around the ballpark for cars with a placard or plates.

Uber, Lyft and drop-offs

Lot T is the rideshare lot for Citizens Bank Park and arena events. It's for pickup and drop-off only, with no parking or waiting.

Gates and getting in

The main entrances are the First Base Gate, Third Base Gate and Left Field Gate, plus entrances on Darien Street and Citizens Bank Way. The Suite and Club Entrance is on Pattison Avenue behind home plate.

On weekdays the Third Base and Left Field Gates partially open 2 hours before first pitch; on weekends they open 2.5 hours before. The rest of the gates and the whole ballpark open 90 minutes before. Early arrivals get Ashburn Alley, the team store and the seats in sections 101–103 and 140–148.

Security uses walk-through scanners at the three main gates, so you don't have to empty your pockets. Go-Ahead Entry, the Phillies' face-scan entry, is available at the same gates.

Clear bag policy

Bags must be clear and no bigger than 12″ × 6″ × 12″. Clutches and fanny packs up to 5″ × 7″ are fine, and so are medical and diaper bags. Backpacks and drawstring bags aren't allowed.

Lockers are $10 (cashless) at the First Base Gate, the West Suite and Club Entrance, and the Left Field Gate.

Unopened plastic bottles of non-alcoholic drinks, baby bottles and single-serve juice pouches are allowed after inspection. Glass, cans, coolers and open containers aren't, and neither is outside alcohol.

Also on the no list: laptops, drones, noisemakers, inflatables and beach balls, brooms, tripods, poles and camera lenses over 6 inches. Signs can be up to 24″ × 18″. There's no smoking or vaping anywhere inside.

Your tickets

Tickets live in the MLB Ballpark app. Printed tickets and screenshots aren't accepted. Apple Wallet works. Will call is gone, but the ticket windows are open on game days if your phone dies or a ticket won't scan.

There's no re-entry, so grab everything before you go in.

Inside the Bank

Citizens Bank Park opened in 2004 and holds 42,901. Ashburn Alley runs 625 feet across the outfield with food, the two-level bullpens and the All-Star Walk. The 19-foot Liberty Bell lights up and swings after every Phillies home run.

The Yard is a 13,000-square-foot kids' area with a mini field and a climbing wall. There's a nursing lounge behind section 125, and kids under 2 can sit on a lap without a ticket.

Everything is cashless. Reverse ATMs that turn cash into a card are in the team store, behind section 122 and behind section 317.

Accessibility

Wheelchair seating is on every level; buy it by calling 215-463-1000. Every entrance is at street level, with ramps at First Base and Left Field and 15 elevators inside.

Guest Services is on the Main Concourse behind section 122 and on the Terrace Level behind section 318 (hotline 215-218-5440). Captions run on PhanaVision and in the MLB Ballpark app, and sensory bags are available at Guest Services.
