1983

Moses Malone predicted "Fo', Fo', Fo'" — four-game sweeps through the playoffs. The 1983 Sixers came close, going 12–1 on the way to the title.

2001

Allen Iverson won the 2001 MVP and led the Sixers to the NBA Finals.

1967

Wilt Chamberlain anchored the 1967 Sixers, one of the best teams in NBA history.

2023

Joel Embiid was named NBA MVP for the 2022–23 season.

1963

The franchise began as the Syracuse Nationals and moved to Philadelphia in 1963, becoming the 76ers.
